Good overall mechanical ability
Good plumbing, HVAC and electrical experience
Strong organizational skills
Related equipment knowledge
-Troubleshoot, repair and maintain of all fitness equipment to ensure that all are working consistently
-Ability and knowledge in the use of all tools, equipment, and material used for repair
-Respond to all service requests in dedicated locations, and deliver results based on the assigned timetable
-Repairs, maintenance and minor construction projects
-Maintains storage areas and accurate inventory system
-Maintain accurate records of all equipment repairs and service
-Process parts/product/service purchase requests supervisor approval
-Respond to emergency calls for club support
-Responsible for all preventive care of fitness equipment and facilities
-Test all facility equipment twice per month for proper function
-Operate within budget limitations
-Proper administration and timely submission of all projects, reports, documents and info
-Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
-Maintain professional manner at all times
-Understand and follow all policies, procedures and standards
-Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook

-Capable of handling/moving equipment in excess of 100 lbs.
-While performing the duties of this job, it will be frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger,
handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders. It will be
occasionally required to sit.
-Able to move inventory
-Skills in basic carpentry, drywall, flooring, electrical and plumbing.
-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
-Working knowledge of computers.
